Top 17 Recipe Websites
I have been in the food-service for a very long time and I always use the web to find new recipes to try. Allot of these websites have been used to create the catering guides I use. I hope you use and enjoy them as much as I have:
- William-Sonomas website. I have used so many recipes from this website. Try the salmon dishes and one of my all time favorites in the Lobster Mango Salad. This site has great pictures of what the dish should look like. http://www.williams-sonoma.com/recipe/index.cfm?cm%5Ftype=gnav
- The Recipe Source! This is one of the first websites I ever used. It has tens of thousands of recipes including break down into countries and ethnics. Great to find authentic recipes. Originally it was called SOARS Search-able Online Archive of Recipes. http://www.recipesource.com/
- Epicurious.com! This website has so much to do. You can find recipes and articles on culinary. http://www.epicurious.com/
- AllRecipes.com! This website has has pictures, recipe swaps and tons of recipes to browse through. I live the quick recipe area and the special features. http://allrecipes.com/
- TheFoodNetwork.com! I love the channel. I love the website. I like to be able to see something from the food channel and find the recipe online. http://www.foodnetwork.com/
- FoodandWine.com! This website has nice upscale recipes and also focuses on wine! I love wine! How do yo pare your favorite food and wine? http://www.foodandwine.com/
- Copycat recipes! You like your favorite candy bar or eating establishment and want to try that recipe at home? Here is its :http://www.recipelink.com/copycat.html
- RecipeZaar.com! This site is new to me but I have found nice pictures and very detailed recipes. Allot of ethnic recipes to try. That is the best part of cooking, trying new things! http://www.recipezaar.com/
