I moved to Illinois and no one knows what a clam cake is.. the closest way to describe it is.. similar to hush puppies from Long John Silvers but filled with chopped clams. batter and clams. yum! I miss Quahogs, Steamers and Baked Stuffed Scrod -

I find it a bit disturbing that you find hot weiners enjoyable…from a guy who went to Johnson and Wales and was on the (food) safety committee for Sodex’ho for years. There are only 2 states in the entire country that this amazing low-grade of hot dog can actually be considered “meat”…New York and Rhode Island. I guess that’s why so many refer to Rhode Island as the “6th Borough”….

Everything else is cool, just the hot weiners gross me out…
