Tanzania Albinos Killed And Body Parts Used
Imagine having poor eye sight so since you don’t have glasses you don’t get educated.
Imagine your kind of people dying of skin cancer at an alarming rate.
Imagine being called by the name “Zeru Zeru” or ghost.
Imagine witch doctors wanting your body parts for portions!
Imagine your family kicking you out of the household because you are known to them as a curse!
Imagine having red eyes so you are killed for witchcraft.
Imagine being tracked down and killed in a ritual killing.
Imagine your dead body being dug up and your arms, genitals, tongue,breasts and legs being cut off and used in potions to make people rich!
Imagine your parents exchanging you for money because you are Albino!
In the East African country of Tanzania these points are reality. Because these are a reality and the Government in the past has turned a blind eye Tanzania’s President, Jakaya Kikwete, used his monthly television address to announce a crackdown on the traditional healers as well as plans to register albinos to improve their safety. “These killings are shameful and distressing to our society,” said Mr Kikwete in his Wednesday night speech to the nation. “I am told that people kill albinos and chop their body parts, including fingers, believing they can get rich.”
In the past year alone 19 are Albinos have been killed and 2 are missing and presumed dead. With a population of 39 million there are about 270,000 Albinos in Tanzania compared with Canada, there might be 300 albinos and the US, maybe just under 3,000. Tanzania’s Albino Society (TAC) says it is a condition and should be treated as a disability.

Well on the subject does anyone know how much it costs and where to buy a complete set (i would like 10 but 5 will do i can get the rest later) of albino fingers? I really don’t want to pay any more than $20USD for one finger. Imagine believing a guy was killed, buried, but came back to life after 3 days.
Imagine telling someone they are going to hell.
“How can people do that to each other?” you ask. Because we allow them to.
Who is sicker?
1) The “witch doctor” and his/her act of persecuting another for what ever the reason.
OR
2) US for not ensuring witch doctors, Imams, priests, etc. get the proper medical attention for their mental health issues.
in Tanzania specially the lake Victoria are people are poor and lack education they see albinos as a curse upon the family, in small villages people stare and will ask u ”how come you are not like your sister or brother” the reality is they are just missing the skin pigmentation to be black, which bring the fear factor of ‘’how can a women have 3 black kids and one an albino ’’for them it’s a curse, that’s the only simplest excuse. People in those are don’t know about the fact and the worst part is Tanzania has the biggest albino population and by this news mothers, fathers and families that have albino kids flee from the country side to the city ‘’dar es salaam’’. The sad thing is there is no one to come and intervene!!!White people can come and teach the lake Victoria locals the genetic modification of an albino but it won’t define why the witchdoctors wants the parts. in Tanzania they should re-impose the rule of killing to ”manslaughter”. A policy needs to be made to protect citizens. But albinos and the government need to rally around the area so the people are educated. Knowledge is passed on and for the future generation they need to know that the witch doctor will not make you money out of u killing an albino but will let you serve time in prison. this is the worse new that could happen to a country that been at piece for all these years and the worse to come out is that people are killing one another for body parts to give to a witch doctor!!!
