They Use Their Hand To Wipe?
I have recently been educated on how people in Iraq wipe their butts! I know what your thinking. What are you talking about DJL and how did you even get into this conversation! Recently a Soldier came back home from a long stay in Iraq and we got to talking. Yes the conversation took a downward spin. I believe someone was drinking out a water bottle and he said the people from Iraq would love that bottle. So of course I say “why”? Well I was told that they hate toilet paper. They say it is smearing! That is unclean! So instead they “USE THEIR LEFT HAND TO WIPE THE WASTE AWAY and use the water bottle to sprinkle the water on the just wiped area.
So let’s talk about this for a second. I had to look this crap (no pun intended) up on the Internet. There is actually people [Read more →]

Sodoku “The Silent Destroyer”
What is this world coming to:
A drug trial in Sydney, Australia was aborted after several jurors were found to be playing sudoku puzzles during proceedings.
The Crown trial, in which Andrew Daniel Lonsdale and Kane Holland were accused of conspiracy to manufacture a commercial quantity of amphetamines, had been running for over three months, involved 105 witnesses and cost over $1 million, and was scheduled to end soon with both parties prepared to deliver final statements this week.
While giving evidence last week, Lonsdale noticed the jury forewoman apparently writing notes vertically rather than horizontally, in the manner of someone solving a sudoku. The co-accused, Holland, made the same observation, and their defence counsel lodged an appeal to the judge. Yesterday, the forewoman gave unsworn evidence to the judge confirming that she and several other jurors had been filling out the puzzles since the second week of the trial, comparing solutions during meal breaks. She claimed it helped them concentrate on the proceedings.
“It helps me keep my mind busy, and pay more attention,” she said in her defence.
Judge Peter Zahra of the Sydney District Court had earlier lauded the jury’s apparent attentiveness and diligence, but following the revelation, he told the forewoman that she and her fellow sudoku players had let down everyone involved in the trial. The jury was discharged, but no penalty will be given to the sudoku players. The New South Wales sheriff’s office will update its guidelines to instruct jurors not to play games during proceedings, and the co-accused will be facing a new trial at a later date.

I Miss My Favorite Candy Bar!
Going way back when I was in grammar school I used to go down the candy lady ((nun) looked like Yoda) to buy my favorite candies of all time. The reason I am writing this is because I would love your help to make Willie Wonka make my favorite candies of all time!!!
Please Mr. Wonka, do you remember that fat little kid who would spend his 50 cent allowance on your delicious, creamy, crunchy, chocolatey, peanut-buttery gift of love called the WONKA SKRUNCH BAR? Yes that was the bar that gave me my thyroid problem (reason why I cannot lose weight) today. I remember I was like a kid in a candy store (she was a short nun) looking through all those candies she sold (small shoe box that consisted of Oompas, Scrunch bars and all the others were crap). Oh Scrunch bar you was my favorite candy in the world! I wish I had a picture of you I would post it over my fireplace! If anyone out there has a picture of this peanut-butter greatmess please send it to me!
Nestle, you own Wonka and [Read more →]

Anti-Terrorist/Pro-American Day Proclamation!
I am not Muslim. I am not ant-Muslim. I am, quite simply put, anti-terrorist, no matter your race or religious preferences. However, I found this to be incredibly funny although it is more anti-Muslim than anti-terrorist. Kudo’s to the guy (obviously a guy) who came up with this and to my bud Kathy for emailing it to me.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR NEXT SATURDAY!
As you may already know, it is a sin for a Muslim male to see any woman other than his wife naked. He must commit suicide if he does. So next Saturday at 4 PM Eastern Time, all American women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood terrorists. Circling your block for one hour is recommended for this anti-terrorist effort.
All patriotic men are to position themselves in lawn chairs in front of their house to prove they are not Muslims, and to demonstrate they think its okay to see nude women other than their wife, and to show support for all American women. Since Islam also does not approve of alcohol, a cold 6-pack at your side is further proof of your anti-Muslim sentiment. The American government appreciates your efforts to root out terrorists and applauds your participation in this anti-terrorist activity. God Bless America!

What the hell is that?
I was thinking about things I used when I was younger. Things that just went away with the years that teens nowadays have no idea what they are. Maybe they are what they use now but just a bit different. If your over 35 you should remember and appreciate these old gadgets of yesteryear.
What the hell is that?:
No it’s not a cash register. Its a giant (does not fit in your pocket) battery operated (not solar) Calculator.
What is this? What is that round thing in the middle? Where is the memory? Its a frig-gin dial and it takes 20 minutes (exaggerated) to dial someone’s phone number. AND WE LOVED IT!
What is this? Its a damn word-processor!!!! What is the rest of the crap with it? I don’t know! But we loved it! Does it have a printer? I am not sure! But it has a cassette recorder to do something important. Believe it or not I sold these things. I think you still needed a printer! No it does not surf the net! It just word-processes!

Check these out:
Civet coffee is coffee made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet (In another words pooped out). The civets eat the berries, but the beans inside pass through their system undigested. This process takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago, in the Philippines (where the product is called Kape Alamid) and in East Timor (locally called kafé-laku). Vietnam has a similar type of coffee, called weasel coffee, which is made from coffee berries which have been defecated by local weasels. In actuality the “weasel” is just the local version of the Asian Palm Civet. So who’s bright idea was this to even try this? Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between $120 and $600 USD per pound, and is sold mainly in Japan and the United States.
Natto is a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans, popular especially for breakfast. As a rich source of protein. The soybean paste miso formed a vital source of nutrition in feudal Japan. For some, natto can be an acquired taste due to its powerful smell, strong flavor, and sticky consistency. In Japan natto is most popular in the eastern regions.

Potentiality and Abortion
There is many an illegal thing one can do that is considered potential for a crime – the potentiality being the only factor making it illegal. No doubt, things such as ‘wreckless endangerment’ should be illegal. It’s only reasonable.
Children who obviously have a greater potential for things like athletisism, or intelligence – are treated differently.
In our society, potential is treated as something to take into consideration – quite reasonably most of the time. A potential crime is treated like a crime, and a potential athlete is treated like an athlete. Does one need religion to realize that abortion makes little notice of the fact that it disregards potential life?
Crime, success, financial investment, and a myriad of other potential things are treated with high value. – Yet, there are many in our society who see the potential for life as nothing more than an unimportant factor. Why should human life be treated as something worthless in comparison with so many lesser things?
So many times has religion been blamed for issues, and conflicts, that would thrive just as much without it.
