All religions permit female oppresion, its just that most religions have modernized, where as these strict islamic countries such as Pakistan, Afganistan, Iran, Iraq, etc....have not. The idiotic men of the society, which for the most part are educated enough to tell the differences between humility, dignity, and ethics. Not all men, but most men from these Islamic countries are spineless losers that love to feel a sense of power, which they gain by stoning, burning, raping, beating, stabbing, and degrading their wives, sisters, and even mothers.
