Devil’s Night In Detroit

 Devils night

Devil’s Night is a long-standing tradition predating World War II, with anecdotal incidents occurring as early as the 1930s. Traditionally, youths in Detroit engaged in a night of criminal behavior, which usually consisted of acts of vandalism (such as throwing eggs at the homes of neighbors, scribbling on windows with bar soap, or stringing toilet paper in trees) . These were almost exclusively petty vandalism acts, causing little to no property damage other than perhaps a damaged mailbox or eggs hardening on windows. These acts still go on today. Obama Halloween Mask Sold In Terrorist Catagory On Amazon

Well I don’t know what to say other then the Barrack Obama Halloween mask is being sold under the category of terrorist.  Now why would they do that?

  • Is it because he  a controversy broke out concerning Obama’s former pastor of twenty years, Jeremiah Wright. After ABC News broadcast clips of his racially and politically charged sermons. Initially, Obama responded by defending Wright’s wider role in Chicago’s African American community, but condemned his remarks and ended Wright’s relationship with the campaign. Obama delivered a speech, during the controversy, entitled “A More Perfect Union” that addressed issues of race. Obama subsequently resigned from Trinity United Church “to avoid the impression that he endorsed the entire range of opinions expressed at that church.”?
  • Is it the fact he went to a Muslim school when he was a child?
  • Maybe his ties to ACORN and how they are being focused on for voter fraud?
  •  Maybe its for his connection with William Ayers, once a member of the Weather Underground, a terrorist group that bombed the Capitol, the Pentagon and the State Department in the 1970s.

Top 17 Horror Movies Of All Time

They are in no particular order.  My suggestion if you have not seen them is to buy or rent them!

  •   1975 Jaws:  I was 6 years old and my mom would not let me see this one.  But once I did, I was freaked in the ocean.  Jaws is regarded as a watershed film in motion picture history, the father of the summer blockbuster movie and one of the first “high concept” films.  Jaws is a 1975 thriller/horror film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley’s best-selling novel, which in turn was inspired by the Jersey Shore shark attacks of 1916. The police chief of Amity Island, a fictional summer resort town, tries to protect beachgoers from a great white shark by closing the beach, only to be overruled by the town council, which wants the beach to remain open to draw a profit from tourists during the summer season. After several attacks, the police chief enlists the help of a marine biologist and a professional shark hunter.
  •  The Exorcist is a 1973 American horror film, adapted from the 1971 novel of the same name by William Peter Blatty, dealing with the demonic possession of a young girl, and her mother’s desperate attempts to win back her daughter through an exorcism conducted by two priests.  Both the film and novel took inspirations from a documented exorcism in 1949, performed on a 14-year-old boy. This film I still have nightmares about.
