(an officially closed facility) They just shelled out $82 million total of stimulus to refurbish Amtrak rail cars between Beech Grove and other facilities. WHY? What does Amtrak or the government need all those "refurbished" rail cars for anyway? Crazy or not I think Beech Grove would make a perfect processing or distribution facility considering it's huge buildings and centrality to the railroads.
